We launched the Pre-Shift Podcast to deepen our connection with the restaurant industry, not just as a vendor, but as a voice and a platform. Over four years, it grew from an idea into a 100,000+ download series featuring operators, chefs, tech leaders, and brand builders. But its real value was in how it unified our content, brand, and customer relationships.
We needed a channel that directly engaged our audience. At the time of creation, our blog, lifecycle, and paid programs were working, but we lacked a way to feature our own users and audience aside from case studies.
